Effective Date: April 6, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Jacks Openclaw Publisher Tools ("the Application") handles your information. This Application is a personal automation tool used solely by me. No user data is collected, stored, or shared for any purpose other than the immediate function of communicating with TikTok's API.
2. Data Collection
The Application does not collect any personal information from you. The only data processed is the OAuth tokens (access_token, refresh_token) and the open_id returned by TikTok after you authorize the Application. These tokens are stored locally on my private server in encrypted files and are used exclusively to authenticate API requests to TikTok on your behalf.
3. Use of Data
- OAuth Tokens: Used to obtain permission to upload and publish videos to your TikTok account. Tokens are automatically refreshed when they expire.
- Open ID: Used to associate your TikTok account with your user ID in the Application.
- Video files: Uploaded videos are temporarily stored on my server for the duration of the publish operation (typically less than 10 minutes) and are then deleted automatically. No video content is retained or shared.
4. Data Sharing
I do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties. All API communication is directly between my server and TikTok's official API endpoints.
5. Data Retention
OAuth tokens are retained until you revoke access via TikTok's "Apps and websites" settings or until the Application is uninstalled. Temporary video files are deleted within 10 minutes of upload. Log files may contain non-identifiable API request metadata but are purged regularly.
6. Security
My server uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Token files are stored with strict file permissions (600) and are only accessible to the Application process. I take reasonable measures to protect the server from unauthorized access.
7. Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected, there is no data to access, correct, or delete beyond what you can already control through TikTok's own settings. You may revoke the Application's access at any time by visiting your TikTok account settings → "Apps and websites" and removing this Application.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
